Izzy is trained by Hub City Service Dogs to help individuals with ADHD and ODD. Jack is a lively young man who loves Star Wars, playing games, and has a dog for a best friend. Izzy is Jack's diabetic alert dog and his best friend. May 5, 2014 was a day that changed the way that Jack and his family face the world. Jack who has ADHD (Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder) and ODD (Oppositional Defiant Disorder) was also diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. His parents are his biggest advocates in every arena and now Izzy helps them find some form of peace in this fight. Izzy has done an amazing job alerting their family and the school staff to high and low blood sugars for Jack.
